The Reminiscences of 2007

In the year 2007, we had gone through many fascinating events and program that let us feel very happy and excited…When I think back platoon C in this year, it was so touch to me~ So Now! Lets us review the event which organize by company and platoon C !

Kukup Trip ~ ~ ~

On 18-19 August, platoon C had plan a trip to Kukup. It was a good place for whole family or a group of friends to enjoy theirselves. This is a two day one night trip, but it is a great trip.
The first day of this trip, we took bus from SMKS to Kukup. We got about 40 members went to this trip. Many form 3 members didn’t take part in this trip because their Pmr is coming soon. On the way to Kukup, some of the members were singing, and some of them were playing some mini games. Wah! It was very fun! When we reached the Kukup bus station, we walked to Sea Port and took boat to our resort.
We got two resorts, one resorts for girls and one for boys. Each resorts got four rooms, two bathrooms and one dining room. Although there was no any air-con is the rooms, it was very cold at the night…If just wearing 1 jacket is not enough…After that, we practiced for the drama competition and singing competition. Every group had the perseverance to win the competition…
After lunch, we play some games with the recruits. At night, we got a ‘ red party ’, everyone must wear red colour t-shirt. It wad the highlight of our trip and we were very exciting at that time. Then we stars the drama competition and singing competition. Each competition will give out prizes to the winner. The singing competitionwinners of the girl are Cpl Yoke Yi and Cpl Hwa Yoong. And the winner of the boy is our platoon strong man L/cpl Chee Yong. The squad Fantastic won the first prize of the drama competition.
After playing the firecracker, they were using the free time to play, sing, chat and….Everyone was too high, until 2am still very vigorous! The second day of the trip, we visited the Rain Tropical Forest. So, early in the morning we pack up our things and leave to visit the forest. We took boat again from our resort to the forest.
After visited the forest, we were ready to go back home. Before leaving kukup, we took lunch at a shopping centre. We were very enjoying this trip and we hope that in future will have this kind of trip.

Charity Sales at Danga Bay...

During 19th until 21st of October, some of the platoon C members went to Danga Bay to have a charity sale to help those who are suffered from kidney failure which take care by National Kidney Foundation (NKF), Malaysia. In addition, we sell roses, hand-made cookies and blessing bags during the charity sales.

When we reached there, we were glad that there was crowded at there! Thanks God! He ‘ordered’ many people to there to support us! Our sales booth was situated in the heart of Danga Bay Festival Mall. Our members prepared the items in school and resource centre before we having sales at there. When we reach there, our members were divided into groups. Then they set off to the different areas in Festive Street Mall with their flower basket which filled with all the items. Thanks God, with his blessing, we managed to sell all our items in three days!

Moreover, during the sales, we managed to share with the public about how the patients suffer and all their stories, a lot of them were touched and willing to donate to the patients. Instead buying the items we sell, some even donate money to us. This make us feel grateful and joyful.
At the end of the sales, we managed to reach our sales target. Although it is not much money we collected, but we raised it with our heart and soul. We hope our contribution and effort may help the patients. After the whole NKF campaign, we all learnt that it is more blissful we give than we take! So we should help the people in need as much as we can.

Finally, we would like to thank all the efforts, cooperation and support from the Danga Bay authorities, officers, the public which helped us all the way. By not forgetting, thank God for given us a wonderful idea, brilliant ideas and fantastic place. Amen.

Community Service ---

Long long ago, our school gymnasium was very dirty n ugly….
But~~~ on 2nd and 6th of June 2007, it become very clean n looked nice…
Every members were put effort to paint the wall of gymnasium, clean the area of gymnasium,
Wash the floor and………
Although some members were don't know how to paint ,but they learned it on that days….so that they can help their parents to paint their home…it is very significance o!!!
